SOOO, WHAT IS A GOLDEN LINING CARD?

A Golden Lining card is a daily reminder of everything that’s good in our lives. It takes the focus from what you don’t have, to what you do have, and to what you like in your life. When you feel grateful, you feel good, and when you feel good, that’s when you allow new things to enter your life.

WHAT DO I DO WITH MY GOLDEN LINING CARD?

Write down a list of the things in your life that you do have, which give you joy, and that you are grateful for.

v  Who are the people in your life who support and inspire you? Friends, family, lovers, or someone you talk to in the office or in the park every day?

v  What are the hobbies you enjoy? Walking, cooking, drawing, watching tv, reading a book, going to the brownies, listening to music?

v  Do you have any pets, or plant herbs, or smell the roses as you walk by?

v  What do you like about yourself? Are you inspiring, funny, clever, caring. It doesn’t have to be anything big or profound.

v  Do you have a dream that makes you feel good when you think about it? Perhaps you dream about spending more time with friends, the moment when you meet your partner, writing a book, or having more fun.

v  Do you believe in God and feel better knowing that he’s watching your back?

 

WHAT’S THE POINT OF THIS GOLDEN LINING CARD?

When you are feeling low, you don’t really feel like doing anything, seeing anyone or going out. When you feel good, you get inspired to create, to meet new people, to do new things.

Just by feeling hopeful, feeling better about yourself and your life can cause you to act in a different way and relate to people differently. This can change everything.
